" pilot of the plane, as well as four people on the ground, died as a result of the crash at about 1:45 p.m., Ornge County Sheriff's Department Lt. Cory Marino said. Two other victims were hospitalized with burn injuries and a firefighter was also treated for minor injuries"
actually, LUCKILY, the man on the beach in the photo above was NOT killed: airplanes sometimes make crash landings by freeways, beaches, and golf courses, and if their engine is out, they are NOT making any noise. So people on the ground may not be aware of the incoming danger. ALL airplanes should be REQUIRED to have a siren/horn that they can activate with one push of a button to alert people on the ground of an incoming crash landing so they can run, dive, take cover, etc
